If you do not work only the HIV test is required. Go to Al Noor Hospital and have your blood test done. It will cost you Dhs 250,00. The result can be picked up next day. For renewal of a visa you can go there straight without picking up the visa application first. Have a passport copy and 2 pics with you.
No medical check up or anything else. This blood test is not covered by your insurance and you have to pay it out of your own pocket.

Hi dear,
This is a general rule for all the 7 states of the United Arab Emirates.
The medical fee is just Dhs.200/= for the 3 years the rest is some insurance and ur medical card fee. The card fees differs based on the issuing authority( the gov. hospital or private hospital). Not sure but a random guess that medical would cost u approx. Dhs. 1200/= to Dhs.1500/=.
When we say medical here in UAE, for the first time it’s just ur blood test and an xray. nothing else. blood test …………. they check mainly the Hepatitus B, C and HIV. nothing more is studied as per my knowledge.
Hope to some extent i am able to satisfy your query.
Keep smiling.
