Do I Need Any Special Vaccinations To Travel To Dubai?

You do not need a special vaccination to visit Dubai, but it’s nice to have one, especially a Hepatitis A/B combination.

If you’re only going to Dubai for a week, and won’t be returning for further trips over the following 12 months, then your son does not need to have any extra jabs more than and above the routine immunisations that he ought to have had at age two – four months.

These are diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, Hib, meningitis C and polio.

Nevertheless, it’s recommended that anyone, such as a infant, travelling towards the United Arab Emirates ought to consider anti-malarial medication, beginning a week before travel and continuing for a minimum of four weeks after leaving the malarial region.

Talk about together with your loved ones physician or exercise nurse the precise anti-malarial drugs which are suggested for Dubai and also the precise dose that the baby will require.

Call you doctor and ask him/her. They will know, as it is online and they will advise you.
I was in Dubai [transit lounge only] twice last year and didn’t need one there but for staying in Dubai, you would have to check with the doc or Government website as to what is necessary and what is advised.

There’s a company called passport health that specializes in vaccinations for world travelers. Give them a call; they have all that info for every country.
